London: So Much to See and Do!

London is the capital city of England and the United Kingdom. A vibrant city with a population of close on 8.3million (July 2013) and a wide range of diverse cultures inhabiting the area, it is a wonderful city to visit.

London covers an area of 1572 km2 and is separated into boroughs. When you visit London there will be many attractions to see and many of them are free. Of course there will be some paid attractions but you can most definitely visit London on a budget too. One really good option which will allow you to see all the major sites in pure comfort is to hire a limo and get a tour around this wonderful city. Your limo driver will act as a local guide too while giving you all the inside information about London.

London also has a wonderful nightlife which should not be forgotten. The world famous West End provides amazing musical theatre shows for visitors often starring world famous singers and actors and promises to be an amazing night’s entertainment. There are also a wide range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes dotted around the city.

London, set on the River Thames is a very historic city and is architecturally very beautiful. It was a target in the bombings by the Nazi’s in WWII but it prevailed. A wonderful city to visit; it will certainly keep any visitor entertained.

Shopping is excellent in London also with the main shopping thoroughfare being on Oxford Street. There is however many shopping centres located all around the capital with all tastes looked after. Westfield London is one of the biggest shopping centres in Europe and is well worth a visit.

Travel to London is easy with Heathrow Airport serving the city as the busiest airport in the world. It also has smaller airports that service it so you are sure to find a route that suits your requirements.
